It's been an up and down 50 years as I imagine it has been for most of us. I've been living in Fargo/Moorhead for most of the time since I left Appleton. After many years of working with children and adults with disabilities, I moved into higher education and taught at MN State University Moorhead. I was laid off in 2014 due to budget cuts but I'm actually very happy that it happened. Now I have time to do some temp and part-time jobs (I still do some online teaching for MSUM), travel to visit my 2 children (London and Mpls), spend time with my parents who are in assisted living in Moorhead, and just hang out with friends and my dog, Sancho. My husband of 34 years passed away in 2012. It was totally unexpected and it took some time for me to recover. Though the grief never goes away, I can now say that I am enjoying my "new normal" life. I'm really looking forward to seeing my classmates!
