Greetings from west river, SD! Who would have thought? My nearest big town is pierre, for real fun we head to Rapid City or Sioux Falls, hours away! After being a social worker for a few years, I was called into ministry in the United Methodist Church. My husband died in 2005, then I remarried 2 years later. Not having been blessed with children in my first marriage, Jerry and I started doing foster care, which ended up with us adopting 2 and being guardian to two! Did I mention they are 8, 8, 13 and 14?? I am retired from pastoring so I have time to follow their activities and do various volunteer things like church st the jail!! Blessed be the memories of those who have gone on before. Have fun visiting, I’ll be at a volleyball tourney!
